Please read
the following important information before submitting for a time
slot:
Season Auditions are
open to Actors' Equity members and Non-Equity Performers. These
auditions are the only open-call auditions during the season (because
of time constraints we are not able to schedule individual auditions
during the year), so they are recommended to every performer who
wants to be considered for the Season.
EQUITY/NON-EQUITY
STATUS
The Mainstage Series operates under an LOA (Letter
of Agreement) contract in reference to LORT (League of Resident
Theatres) between Actors' Equity Association and Actors' Playhouse
Productions, Inc. Both Equity and Non-union actors will be considered
for Mainstage shows, in accordance with our LOA Equity ratio.
Minimum Equity Actor Salary for 2009-2010: $640.00
The Theatre for Young Audiences
Series offers opportunities for Non-Equity Performers. On occasion
an Equity performer could be employed for The Children's Theatre,
in which case he/she would be signed to an Equity Guest Contract.
PLEASE NOTE: Performers
under 17 years of age are considered Young Performers, and should
refer to specific auditions for that age group on our website.
