WHAT TO BRING
All EQUITY auditionees should bring ONE copy of their
headshot & résumé.
NON-EQUITY* auditionees should bring TWO copies of their
headshot & résumé.
*Non-singers only need to bring ONE copy.
If singing, PLEASE HAVE SHEET MUSIC FOR PIANO ACCOMPANIST
*NOTE: No a cappella, or singing to tracks is permitted.
WHAT TO PREPARE
If singing, please prepare:
- Two contrasting 16-bar pieces
- One 1-minute monologue (contemporary preferred)
If NOT singing, please prepare:
-Two contrasting, 1-minute monologues
OR
-One 2-minute monologue
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will be given an approximately 5-minute warning
before you will be taken in to audition. When it is
your turn, you will be brought in to the theatre and
introduced. Your headshot and résumé will
have already been received, and you can go right up
on stage. If you will be singing, you should immediately
give your music to the accompanist. From that point
on, you can decide in what order you would like to present
your material. After your audition is over you will
be dismissed and you may see yourself back out to the
lobby. |
