Classic Tale of Good vs. Evil in Hansel and Gretel
Onstage at Actors’ Playhouse June 29 – August 7

CORAL GABLES - Actors' Playhouse Musical Theatre for Young Audiences announces a musical version of the classic Brothers Grimm tale Hansel and Gretel, adapted by Richard KortKamp, with music from the opera by Engelbert Humperdinck and lyrics by Adelheid Wette.
Directed by Earl Maulding, this enchanting musical follows Gretel, the poor broom maker’s daughter, and her brother Hansel, a boy with a voracious appetite, on a magical journey into a mysterious forest. There they encounter lively fairies, mischievous woodsprites, a protective sandman and of course a witch with a delicious cottage and an unusual recipe for gingerbread children!
