MAINSTAGE
NYC AUDITIONS
Actors' Playhouse travels to NYC twice a season to audition
performers. In most cases production staff is looking for
leads, or specialty performers (ie: dancers, tumblers, etc.)
These auditions, and submission guidelines, are posted in
Backstage Magazine 3-4 weeks prior to the audition dates.
Please refer to posted instructions if you are interested
in being seen. Please note: because of the number of submissions
for these auditions we are not able to see everyone that
would like to be seen.
SUBMISSION OF MATERIAL (headshot/resume)
Although we do accept material submitted through regular
mail or e-mail, we encourage performers to try to attend
Our Season Auditions or the FPTA Auditions in order to be
seen by our production staff. Unfortunately because of the
number of submissions we receive we cannot reply or contact
senders unless we have a special interest. Because of time
constraints we also cannot schedule individual auditions
or meetings with our production staff.
FPTA (Florida Professional Theatre Association)
Actors' Playhouse is represented every summer at the Annual
Florida Professional Theatre Association auditions. We encourage
all performers to attend these auditions, as they are a
great opportunity to be seen by a number of major Theatre
companies in the state. More information can be found on
their website: www.fpta.net

opportunities for emerging playwrights residing in Florida.
Winners will be selected by a panel of selected industry
professionals from the Florida theatre community under
