This enchanting musical follows Gretel, the poor
woodcutter's daughter, and her brother Hansel,
who has a voracious appetite, on a magical journey
into a mysterious forest. There they encounter
lively Fairies, mischievous Woodsprites, a very
protective Sandman and of course a Witch with
a delicious cottage and an interesting recipe
for Gingerbread Men! Based on the classic story
by the Brothers Grimm with music from the opera
by Engelbert Humperdink and lyrics by Adelheid
Wette.
Weekday 10 am matinees are available for pre-arranged
field trips through our education department at
