Suggested task order or field trip planning

Suggested task order for field trip planning

1. Meet with your team to find the day that works with your school calendar.
2. Complete the short FIELD TRIP REQUEST FORM for Actors’ Playhouse with your top three date choices and approximate number of students.
3. Once you receive a contract with a temporary hold on your seats, reserve buses.
4. Get preliminary approval from an administrator and have them send a direct E-mail stating they are in support of the trip to our representative.
5. Sign the contract and send it back to our representative.
6. If you are M-DCPS complete the partially filled out FIELD TRIP PERMISSION PACKET so you can obtain official district approval.
7. Set up a collection plan with your treasurer or secretary (we suggest a deadline of at least two full school weeks prior to your trip) and send home permission slips.
8. Send your final count within a week of the performance to our representative.
9. You will receive an invoice once we receive your final count. Give that to your school treasurer and request a school check. If time permits mail or deliver your payment, or feel free to bring it with you to the performance.
10. Come to the Miracle Theatre and have an extraordinary day of learning, entertainment, and enlightenment with your students. This is the warm fuzzy part:)
