As you prepare for the Young Talent Big Dreams Competition, please use the check list below to ensure you’ve submitted all documentation and are ready for your audition:

Before Your Audition
After your audition form has been submitted, you will receive an email confirming the audition time and a request for additional documentation. Please ensure you’ve submitted the following:
1. Performer’s proof of age. Each member of a group must provide proof of age. This can be a birth certificate, passport, etc.
2. Proof of residency in Miami-Dade. Each member of a group must provide proof of residency. This can be a current utility bill with address.
3. Parent permission form filled in and signed by parent or legal guardian.

Additional Documents/Information Needed
Contestants in the following categories will also need to provide their original material before their audition. You will receive an email requesting the following:
1. Spoken Word/Original Poetry/Prose: A copy of your original piece for the judges. Your piece must be written by you, not copied from a book. Plagiarized material will be disqualified.
2. Composition: A copy of your original composition. Please provide sheet music and/or a lyrics sheet for the judges. Your piece must be written by you, not copied from a book. Plagiarized material will be disqualified.

Day of Your Audition
We know the day of your audition will be full of excitement! Below are a few tips and reminders to help your audition run smoothly:
1. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your designated audition time. Miami traffic can be unpredictable, please plan accordingly.
2. Please make sure to bring your music/accompaniment. This can be on your phone/electronic device, iPad/tablet, or link to your accompaniment. Singing acapella (without music) is not allowed.
3. Please be sure your costume, performance materials, choreography and performance style are age appropriate.
